Hail storms

The two hail storms which hit Burgundy on Saturday 28th June did not spare the Côte de Nuits, even if their intensity was lower than in the Côte de Beaune, severely damaged.

All our plots from Nuits-Saint-Georges to Chambolle-Musigny were affected in a proportion ranging from 10 to 25%.
Echezeaux and Clos Vougeot were the most seriously damaged areas.
Its seems that Gevrey-Chambertin and especially Ruchottes-Chambertin were less concerned.

Thanks to the earliness of this event, we may hope that the berries will have time to heal. Only time will tell the real impact...
