<h1>Domaines Mugneret-Gibourg et Georges Mugneret</h1> <h3>The Domain</h3> The surface area of Domaine Georges-Mugneret is 6 hectares, or almost 15 acres, with an average production of 32,000 bottles Domaine GEORGES-MUGNERET is divided in the following manner: Domaine MUGNERT-GIBOURG produces the appellations Bourgogne Rouge Vosne-Romanée Villages Nuits-Saint-Georges Villages Echezaux All of the parcels producing these appellations are held in sharecropping until the grapes are ripe, meaning that the domain retains ownership of these parcels but that the actual cultivation of the vines is under the supervision of another winemaker. Regular contact and discussion are maintained between the domain and the sharecroppers, allowing Marie-Andrée and Marie-Christine to supervise closely the development of the grapes. At the harvest the grapes are shared out, and Marie-Andrée and Marie-Christine continue the vinification.
